Stocky is gone

Shopify retired Stocky on August 31, 2026, along with its demand forecasts and reorder suggestions.

Spreadsheets break

Velocity changes every week. A sheet you update on Sunday is wrong by Wednesday, and it never knows your supplier takes three weeks.

Stockouts cost twice

You lose the sale today, and the ad spend that sent the shopper there. Overbuying ties up cash in boxes on a shelf.

What it does

A reorder plan that does the math for you.

01

Order-by dates per supplier

Set each supplier's lead time once. SteadyShelf tells you the day you need to order, not just that you're low.

02

Forecasts from real sales

Daily sales velocity for every variant, so fast movers and slow movers each get their own number.

03

Seasonality built in

Last year's curve adjusts this year's forecast, so Q4 doesn't catch you with a September order.

04

Draft POs you approve

Suggestions roll up into a purchase order per supplier. Nothing is ever ordered without your click.

05

Every number shows its math

Tap any suggestion to see exactly how it was calculated. No black box.

06

Stocky import

Bring over your suppliers, lead times and purchase order history from your Stocky export.

How it works

Set up in an afternoon.

  1. Install from the Shopify App Store. SteadyShelf reads your products, inventory and order history.
  2. Add suppliers and lead times. Or import them from Stocky.
  3. Check your plan each morning. Red means order now, amber means soon, green means you're fine.

Pricing

One plan. Everything in it.

No tiers, no per-SKU fees, no setup calls.

FAQ

Questions

Does it place orders automatically?

No. SteadyShelf drafts purchase orders and suggests quantities. You review and approve every order.

Do I need to have used Stocky?

No. Any Shopify store that buys inventory from suppliers can use it. Stocky users just get a faster setup through the import.

How is the forecast calculated?

From your recent daily sales per variant, adjusted for seasonality when you have enough history. Every suggestion shows the inputs and the formula.

What data does it access?

Products, inventory levels and order line items (what sold and when). We don't sell your data. See the privacy policy.

When can I install it?

We're finishing up before App Store launch. Join early access and we'll email you the install link the day it's live.
